Funeral Arrangements Announced for First African-American NBA Player

WATE – Funeral arrangements have been announced for Earl Lloyd, the first African-American to play in an NBA basketball game. Lloyd died last month in Crossville at the age of 86. He made his debut in 1950 with the Washington Capitals.
