Our mission is to establish a sense of community for the African Diaspora online by sharing in our common experiences across the globe.
Why is there a need for The Black Report?
There are hundreds of news media outlets worldwide and thousands of news events covered on a daily basis. While the major news outlets select a handful of stories to focus on as the “Top Stories” of the day, there are many important stories that do not receive the same level of attention. The Black Report was created to provide visibility to the news stories important to the African-American community.
Is The Black Report only for Black people?
No. All are welcome. We encourage everyone to follow The Black Report on social media and participate in the online discussions.
Is the Black Report affiliated with civil rights organizations such as the NAACP, Urban League, or Black Lives Matter?
No. The Black Report is an independent news organization.
Is The Black Report African American owned and operated?
Yes. The Black Report is owned and operated by Richard Jones Media LLC.
How does The Black Report make money?
The Black Report makes money through clearly identified banner ads and advertisement text links. We also keep our expenses low by partnering with the most trusted providers in the business instead of doing everything ourselves.
